Preparing the Marta print edition
In this series of images B. H. Giza's new Marta print is being editioned by master printer Janet Flohr of Hare and Hound Press. First, Janet prepared the plate, including steel jacketing in Hare and Hound Press's in-house electroplating facility. Working with artist B. H. Giza, decisions were made about the color of ink and type and size of paper. In this case, the image is a simple black and white one, on high-quality Hannemuhle paper.
